Retained search is an effective way to proactively seek out and attract highly talented individuals from competing organizations or from another industry. Victory Search Group will identify, develop and deliver the most talented candidates from the marketplace.

Step 1 – Organization Interview
Victory Search Group interviews key executives within your organization to fully understand the history, culture, future strategy, challenges, etc.. This includes: the hiring manager, peers, human resources executives, etc.

Step 2 – Position Specification and “Must Have” Test Development
We formulate the information gathered during the Organization Interviews into a detailed position description. The position description is used to market your opportunity to a pool of talented potential candidates.

The “Must Have” test is the road map for the search. Criteria are developed against which each candidate is measured. Usually, there are several “must haves” for each search.

Step 3 – Strategy Development
Develop a comprehensive search map, which details each resource used to source candidates. This includes developing a target list of companies and outlining databases and other resources.

Step 4 – Research & Candidate Development
Identify and contact potential candidates from the target list of companies. Victory markets your firm and opportunity in the marketplace to bring high-potential candidates “to the table”. Because we don’t wait for candidates to respond to an ad or posting, we are able to access talented candidates that may not be “looking” for a job.

Step 5 – Candidate Assessment & Presentation
Face-to-face, in-depth interviews are conducted with qualified candidates.

You will be provided with an assessment report on each finalist candidate. The assessment report will focus on the critical rankings against each of “Must Have” criteria.

Step 6 – Client Interviews
This is your opportunity to meet with and evaluate the finalists. Victory will coordinate interviews.

Step 7 – Reference Checking
Victory conducts in-depth reference checking and provides a comprehensive report.

Step 8 – Offer & Negotiation
Once the finalist is selected, Victory will facilitate the offer and negotiation process.
