Amy Frink, Managing Director
Ms. Frink founded Victory Search Group in 2002 after a successful career at Heidrick & Struggles. Ms. Frink’s search practice focuses on serving clients across a broad spectrum of industries including software, retail and industrial companies. Ms. Frink’s practice focuses primarily on building financial function and administrative teams for her clients. She has successfully executed searches for Corporate Controllers, Vice President Financial Planning and Analysis, Vice President Sales, Vice Presidents of Human Resources and senior level positions for most line and staff functions. Recently, Ms. Frink completed searches for Vital Processing Services, Robert Mondavi Winery, Quiznos, JDA Software and The United States Postal Service.

Prior to ascending to the Consultant level at Heidrick & Struggles, Ms. Frink spent several years as an Associate where she was directly responsible for developing research and search strategies, identifying and assessing potential candidates, and presenting qualified candidates to clients.

Amy Frink

Previously, Ms. Frink was a Manager at a Chicago-based search firm that specialized in recruiting highly technical mid-level candidates for a wide variety of client companies.

A native of Michigan, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University. She currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband Cliff and their three young children.

Julie Doman, Director
Ms. Doman brings a wealth of executive search experience to Victory Search Group. She started her search career at Heidrick & Struggles. During her tenure there, she led searches for CEOs and most other C-level executives. Ms. Doman gained international experience working for several years in London conducting searches for clients throughout Europe. While in London, she was appointed Industrial Practice Associate Director for Europe.

Recently, Ms. Doman spent several years in marketing and brand management at the Quaker Oats division of PepsiCo working on well known brands Cap'n Crunch and Rice-A-Roni. In this role her responsibilities included promotional strategy, new products, budgets and brand performance.

Ms. Doman's search practice focuses primarily on companies in the industrial and consumer packaged goods sectors and reaches across all functions including general management, marketing, sales, strategy, finance, manufacturing and human resources.

Julie Doman

A native of Indiana, she holds an MBA in Marketing and Economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University. She currently resides in a Milwaukee suburb with her husband Kurt and three children.

Ann Kozel, Director
Ms. Kozel comes to Victory Search Group with over twelve years of management and executive search experience. Ann’s career includes recruiting experience in a variety of industries and functional areas.

She most recently spent over seven years with Korn/Ferry International’s mid executive practice, Futurestep, as a Managing Consultant. Ann focused on several industries to include; Industrial/ Manufacturing, Non-profit, Healthcare Services& Products and Professional Service. Ann has placed numerous Human Resources, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing and Operations professionals during her tenure. She was responsible for search delivery, large-scale project management and managing client relationships serving in both Regional and Industry Practice leadership roles.

Prior to joining Futurestep, Ann was an Associate with Heidrick & Struggles, focusing on the recruitment of chief executive officers, chief financial officers and senior operating executives in the technology and telecommunications industries.

Ann Kozel

Ann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Illinois State University and spent a semester abroad in Bristol, England. She resides in Chicago, IL with her husband and two young daughters.

Lisette Valverde - Connell, Senior Associate
Ms. Connell brings over ten years of search and recruitment experience to Victory Search Group. She focuses on servicing clients across a wide range of industries including high-tech, financial and industrial firms. She has successfully executed searches, developed search strategies and performed research for CFOs, Corporate Controllers, Financial and Business Analysts, as well as many management and staff functions. Most recently Lisette has completed searches for Hitachi Data Systems, Adecco Staffing, Gamma Scientific and Harris Bank.

Prior to her progression to Market Manager at Randstad, N.A., Ms. Connell had spent several years in Sales, Marketing and Management, also in the search and staffing industries. Ms. Connell began her career with Marriott Hotels and Resorts in New York and in 1993 moved to Chicago where she began her recruiting career.

Lisette Valverde- Connell

A native of New York, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and English Literature from The University of Michigan. She currently lives in Chicago with her husband John.
